Unal says “many people associate Turkey with the Middle East as the majority of the population is Muslim. In fact, Turkey is geographically on the border of Asia and Europe, and its food is heavily influenced by its neighbors like Greece, Bulgaria and Georgia. Because of the Silk Road, the Turkish food uses various kinds of spices and ingredients, while we also use many cooking methods like grilling, stewing or deep frying.”

Traditional food with fresh baked breads

The Turkish cuisine is said to be a composite of foods invented by nomads, indigenous people on the Anatolian peninsula, and immigrants from the Central Asia. At this restaurant, you can also order freshly baked breads to enjoy with the Turkish food. Servers can give you an advice as to which dish goes well with the bread.

Shows by authentic belly dancers from Turkey

The restaurant has a large space for authentic belly dancers to perform (the show is offered three times a week from 20:00 on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday). There are several course menus available for big groups, and you can also add all-you-can-drink to the pre-fix course.
